Professional Eyelash Extensions
Lash extensions usually look their best for 2–4 weeks. To keep your lashes full and beautiful, schedule a fill every 2–3 weeks. If you notice less than half your lashes left, it’s time for a fresh set.
At each fill, your artist removes grown-out extensions and adds new ones to keep your lashes lush. You naturally lose two to five lashes per eye daily, so most clients need 60 to 100 extensions per eye to maintain volume. THE PROCEDURE
After a professional consultation in which the lash artist explains the procedure, aftercare, and benefits of eyelash extensions, you will be taken into a treatment room. Here, you can relax on a comfortable spa table, with a bolster under your knees and a neck pillow provided for complete support and relaxation.
Once your eye area is cleaned and your bottom lashes are protected, you will be ready to receive the extensions. Each lash extension is dipped in a medical-grade bonding adhesive and then applied to a natural lash, with great care taken to avoid any contact with the skin.
During a typical classic application, each eye will require between 50 to 200 new lashes, depending on the number of natural lashes you have and your desired look. The entire procedure takes approximately 90 to 180 minutes and is very relaxing. You will leave with a revitalized and uplifted appearance for your eyes.
To get the most out of your eyelash extensions. Strictly follow simple instructions. The first 48 hours are crucial to the bonding procedure, so: • ABSOLUTELY NO WATER OR STEAM on EYELASHES for 24 hours • NO SAUNA, STEAMING, SWIMMING or WASHING EYES with water for 48 hours • NO: Mascara, emollients, creams, and oils (destroy eye lash bonding agent) • USE EYE CREAMS SPARINGLY AND AVOID LID AND/OR LASHES • DO NOT USE MASCARAor MASCARA REMOVER. It dramatically shortens lash extension life
• DO NOT USE LASH CURLERS. It breakS the lashes and/or creases them • DO NOT RUB LASHES when washing your face - pat dry after cleansing • DO NOT PULL ON LASH EXTENSIONS

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser. Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application. Do not put on any mascara. We don't spend time removing makeup from your lashes or you will be charged $35.We'd rather spend time working on perfecting your lashes.
If you wear contact lens, please remove them and wear glasses or bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment.
Set aside 1.5 - 4 hours for your appointment depending on the style of extensions you are having applied. This procedure is relaxing, many clients fall asleep due to comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy!
Q's & A's
Can I use Mascara on my extensions? For those dye hard fans the answer is "It is NOT recommended". It will shorten or destroy the life of the extensions and we are not responsible for the effects of mascara application. You will not need to use mascara with these extensions.
Most mascaras are petroleum based, will break down the bonding agent of the extensions, and dramatically shorten their lives. Because your bottom lashes touch your top lashes when the eye is closed, we recommend not using your normal mascara on your bottom lashes as well. The goal is to go mascara-less.
I sleep on my stomach. Will this affect my lashes? If you sleep on your stomach, or sleep with a pillow or blanket over your head, or cover your eyes with sleeping mask, the longevity of your lashes will be greatly diminished. Side sleepers will notice that the eye that is on the side they sleep on will loose lashes a bit more than the side that is up. This is normal.
Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe? Currently the FDA does not regulate eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The primary ingredient in our adhesive is the same ingredient used by plastic surgeons in the U.S. for suture-less wound closure. The application process is pain-free and relaxing. In fact, many clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an unqualified technician can cause damage to your eyes and eyelids.
